We know the answer is always chocolate, but what is your question?
Seriously, we know there are some common threads to questions asked by our retailers, and so we thought it may be helpful to have some answers for these most popular queries, although not an exhaustive list, they may help you in the first instance. Do give us a shout for anything we may be missing and we’ll come right back to you.
Placing an order with us is very simple; you simply click add to basket on each case you require and then once you’ve chosen all you need, click check out.
Orders under £100 will need to be paid for on a debit/credit card or by Paypal at checkout, as we are unable to offer our standard account terms for these smaller order values.
All orders over £100 can be ordered via invoice which will automatically work on our 30 day account terms and you will be emailed an invoice for your order upon dispatch. This applies unless you choose to pay for your order in full at the time of checkout through debit/credit card or by Paypal.
We are working towards eliminating any paper where we can, and therefore only email our invoices. On the day your order is dispatched with our courier, you will be sent a system generated invoice to the email address you have supplied us with.
Please ensure you have given us the correct email address for where you want the invoice emailing too.
Each product has its case size listed along with its description, so hopefully you will find all you need there.
The bars come in shelf ready packs (srp’s), ready to stand on your shelves; and for our lollies, there is the option to order a wooden lolly tray that will last, and not need replacing. We don’t supply cardboard lolly trays, as we try our best to limit the use of cardboard where we feel there is a good alternative.
Delivery is free of charge on all orders of £200 or more (net of VAT); smaller orders carry a £6.95 courier charge. On occasion, if we do not have a particular product in stock for a short period, we will wait until your order is complete before dispatching. During periods of extreme weather conditions we may also hold off sending your order and will advise you accordingly.
Most orders placed before 12 noon will go out the same day; otherwise it will be the next day (unless we have an item out of stock).
We dispatch our courier orders with DPD, and our palleted orders with Millfield Haulage; both whom we’ve found to be friendly and helpful, and reliable to work with over the years. At times (as with all couriers) we do experience some breakages, and we do our utmost to prevent these issues where possible.
We’ve been working hard to eliminate plastics from all of our packaging, including our transit packaging. We now only use a paper gummed tape, which can be thrown in the recycling bin along with the cardboard outer box. The ecoflow loose fill (wotsits to us) and bubble wrap are 100% recycled and recyclable. So please, play your part and recycle them carefully.
Ingredients & Materials
Over the past 12 months we’ve reduced all plastics in our packaging by 75%, and we are continuing to strive to make further reductions.
The clear packaging of our G&T range is made of recyclable PET, and we continue to explore possible options for a commercially viable and widely recyclable alternative for our lolly bags.
No; all of our range is free from any palm oil, a currently hotly debated topic. We’ve done some digging on it and you can check out our blog, which talks about palm oil and the issues surrounding it.
All our chocolate is made from natural ingredients, and any inclusions and flavours we work with are also only natural; so you can rest assured, no hidden nasties in there.
Our Vegan chocolate is simply any and all of our dark chocolate range. We’ve chosen to have them formally accredited with the Vegan Society for easier customer selection, as with the recognisable logo, they know that they can enjoy the chocolate. All of our chocolate is suitable for vegetarians (other than our classic sweet lollies); although we do have vegetarian and vegan certified lollies within our range.
